International Anti-Corruption day


Today is December 9, the International Anti-Corruption day. It has been observed annually, on  December 9, since the passage of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption on 31 October 2003 to raise public awareness for anti-corruption.
What do you know about corruption?
Is this issure actual for Belarus?
How can we cope with it?

  1. Among the CIS countries, Belarus has a relatively low level of corruption crime. But for me, corruption is one of the main problems of todays issures for Belarus. The state tries to cope with corruption crimes, which is evidenced by famous processes of the medical department this year.
    You need to understand that corruption is the most hidden crime. It is very difficult to struggle with it.
    The reasons why corruption usually develops is a low level of population's finances and a deep conviction in the minds of people that taking bribes is normal. Therefore, in order to fight corruption, we should work with youth to make them understand that corruption is a bad thing; It should be clearly aware that punishment will follow for any corruption act.
    For example in China they use capital punishment for any corruption act till nowadays, and it works.
