A lot of people like extreme sports! They leave their offices and businesses to spend their free time doing extremely dangerous things. When they do extreme sports, they will completely forget about their everyday problems. They have got a lot of new emotions. But this sports are very dangerous and terrified. They can injured or eventually, they can die! On the other hand, if people find that spirit, their life will take on new meaning. You will understand that all things are possible. Your relatives and friends will worry about your health. People, who does extreme sports, must think about their family. If you want to do extreme sport, you must think all positive and negative effects!
ReplyDeleteExtreme sports are extreme by definition. Due to that it is practiced. And death during doing it is just as common as in traffic. But no one calls to ban cars and traffic.
DeleteGood point, Yura, about traffic accidents. Do you know the statistics?
DeleteI don't mind watching violent sport, yet I don't want to participate in it. Every one has to choise himself.
DeleteMany people wonder if extreme sports should be banned. On the one hand, this is everyone’s private choice. Everyone knows about the risks. On the other hand, some people where they don’t think about their relatives, who will worry about them. And can society afford such a risk of losing the most valuable thing - human life? Let’s talk about some extreme sports, which are popular in Belarus and other countries.
ReplyDeleteToday, diving attracts thousands of people around the world. This is a great possibility to explore the oceans yourself. Today it is put on stream. So, and the threats reduce. But even today, divers die because of equipment malfunctions, underwater inhabitants, own self-confidence, etc.
Freestyle is a sport that is developed in Belarus, a national pride. We enjoy the beautiful pirouettes of athletes, we envy them. At the same time, it is a dangerous sport, because any loss of coordination can result in serious injuries up to disability. For example let’s remember our Belarusian athlete Dmitry Rack, who fell, injured his spine and stayed disabled. Despite this, Freestyle is gaining more and more fans.
Surfing can be next example. It's really cool to ride the waves. No doubt, that many people would like to learn it. Surfing helps keeping yourself feet and strong, yet every year lots of surfers die due to sharks, storms, their own laches, etc.
In conclusion, extreme sports attract with its elitism, unforgettable emotions and separation from all problems. On the other hand these sports are called extreme due to the danger to human life.
I believe that extreme sports are a good method to overcome your fear and throw out your negative energy. People do this to distract from work and from their problems. Some even make money on it. In place of those who want to ban these sports, I would rather think about something else or how to secure these sports. I would try at least once one of the types of extreme sports when I grow up.
ReplyDeleteTake care, Alex!
DeleteI don't think dangerous and violent sports must be banned because such sports have a lot of fans. No one knows what will happen. In my opinion, even if we ban these sports people will continue taking risks. I doubt that popularity of these sports will decrease. The opposite, I think it will raise. More people will die. But on the other hand, after some years the number of people, taking risks, will probably decline. These hobbies won't be shown on the TV. Oh, and certainly there's a difference between dangerous and violent sports.
ReplyDeletePersonally I don't support violent sports because I can't stand watching people fighting and hurting themselves but I don't mind watching and doing dangerous sports. For example I'm fond of skating but it's also a dangerous sport and I've already hurt myself seriously but I still love skating. Emotions that I feel when I ride are unique.
I am against banning dangerous sports. for someone it’s a whole job, from an early age they liked this sport and they completely devoted themselves to this sport. therefore they are now what they are, wealthy people. Also, such sports as diving, boxing, skydiving and others have many fans who are willing to pay a lot of money to watch or participate. for someone it’s a way to overcome their fear, for example, I would like to parachute, it’s scary, but I’m sure that emotions will be indescribable and I will remember this jump for life
